“We recently used ISS for a new sound system in our new sanctuary. For starters, we kind of put them behind the eight ball because of how long we waited to get them involved in the project. But they were more than willing to take on the task. (For everyone’s sake get your audio/video architect involved early!). The auditorium is a fan-shape design which is quite a challenge to setup for proper sound reinforcement. ISS ran our building specs through EV’s “EASE” program (used for analyzing your room’s acoustical characteristics) and developed a plan accordingly. We worked with ISS and another firm for a quote on the project. We met with each and discussed some ideas of what we were looking for and an approximate budget and when the quotes came back ISS was cheaper and had quoted better equipment than the other firm.
After deciding to go with Ingold Sound Systems, they immediately got started with the preliminaries of ordering the appropriate items and performing any tasks that could be done on the building to help get us caught up to the point where the building was ready for equipment to be installed and so the other contractors could keep on schedule. ISS was willing to work with our schedule to which all of the other contractors appreciated. Once all of the equipment was installed and tested (which worked the first time we turned it on) ISS made sure to give a full “tour” of the system and trained us on the all of the equipment. ISS was very patient and understanding with us as we had a lot of questions. The installation process could not have went any smoother with ISS. They always had what they needed… ON HAND. There wasn’t a lot of “I forgot to bring…” or “we don’t have…” They were always prepared.
After all was implemented and tested we had a couple of issues that came up a few weeks later. I’ve dealt with enough vendors in the past to know this is where a truly “customer-oriented” company will shine. ISS did just that – they made sure that all issues were resolved in a timely manner without me having to do much. A phone call to ISS and they were taking care of it.
Some of the keys to ISS’ success is their professionalism. Not all installers are created equal. Some could care less how they act when onsite. All of the ISS personnel were very professional and more than appropriate to have working in a church setting. Another key is that they understand the concept of “good stewardship.” They kept our budget in mind when making recommendations. Spending more isn’t always the best option and they were always sure to give us plenty of information to help us make an informed decision. I would highly recommend ISS to anyone for installation (or upgrade) on any scale project.”
